Hole By Hole Description

Front Nine

Hole 1: "The Hair of the Dog"
Distance: 351 yards (Par 4)
Description: Watch out for Joe—he’s probably still drunk or severely hungover from last night, so don’t be surprised if he tries to play this hole with his eyes closed. The fairway is wide, just like Joe’s margin for error this morning.
Adult Beverage: Bloody Mary—Joe will need one to sober up, and you might need one to keep up.
Song: "Start Me Up" by The Rolling Stones.

Hole 2: "The Optimist"
Distance: 431 yards (Par 5)
Description: A par 5 early in the round where dreams of an eagle take flight... until you remember your slice that rivals the bread at dinner. But hey, there's always that second shot to look forward to.
Adult Beverage: Mimosa—Because it’s early, and optimism pairs well with champagne.
Song: "Don't Stop Believin’" by Journey. You’re going to need that optimism.

Hole 3: "The Reality Check"

Distance: 423 yards (Par 4)

Description: This hole is extremely difficult, unless you’re Adam—because you’re a Sandbagger. The green looks small from a distance, and somehow, it seems even smaller up close. But don’t worry, for the rest of us mere mortals, it’s all about scrambling and surviving.

Adult Beverage: Irish Coffee—For that mix of warmth and courage, you’ll need to tackle this one.

Song: "Enter Sandman" by Metallica. Because you’ll be entering Adam’s world here.

Hole 4: "The Daydreamer"
Distance: 362 yards (Par 4)
Description: Hopefully, Shawn has arrived and caught up with the group by now. This par 4 will test your patience and your driving skills, as the downhill approach might make you dream of a birdie, but the bunkers will quickly wake you up.
Adult Beverage: Tequila Sunrise—For those still dreaming big.
Song: "Hotel California" by The Eagles. You might not check out of this one easily.

Hole 5: "The Temptation"
Distance: 325 yards (Par 4)
Description: Creed will be right at home here—this hillbilly goat hole is as rugged as his roots. The short distance is tempting, but don’t be fooled; those trees are just waiting to add some strokes to your score.
Adult Beverage: Whiskey Sour—Just like Creed’s humor, this drink is a perfect mix of sweet and sour.
Song: "Take Me Home, Country Roads" by John Denver. Because Creed might feel right at home.

Hole 6: "The Ego Crusher"
Distance: 201 yards (Par 3)
Description: This par 3 might seem easy, but it’s the longest one on the course. It’s so hard, it makes Jamo turn his white pants brown, cause he’ll need to squeeze a long one to get it to the green. Watch out for that bunker—it’s a trap!
Adult Beverage: Gin & Tonic—Crisp and refreshing, just like the reality check you’ll get here.
Song: "Under Pressure" by Queen. Because that’s what you’ll feel on this long par 3.

Hole 7: "The Redemption"
Distance: 333 yards (Par 4)
Description: After the ego-crushing par 3, here’s your chance at redemption. A straight shot to the green, assuming you can avoid the fairway bunkers. Redemption is sweet—just like that birdie putt you’re lining up.
Adult Beverage: Margarita—Because you deserve something sweet after that last hole.
Song: "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor. Time to get your game face on.

Hole 8: "The Deceiver"

Distance: 118 yards (Par 3)

Description: This par 3 is shorter than Jack’s tiny shorts. If Jack’s shorts were any shorter, you would see his balls. Don’t let the short distance fool you; the green is elusive, and Jack might distract you with his balls.

Adult Beverage: Cosmopolitan—Short, sweet, and just a bit tricky, like this hole.

Song: "It’s Raining Men" by The Weather Girls. Because with Jack’s shorts, it just might be.

Hole 9: "The Finale (Front Nine)"
Distance: 353 yards (Par 4)
Description: As you finish the front nine, remember this: it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish. This par 4 is straightforward—just like your hopes of breaking 50.
Adult Beverage: Old Fashioned—Classic and reliable, just like your approach shot should be.
Song: "Born to Run" by Bruce Springsteen. Time to finish strong.

Back Nine

Hole 10: "The Reset"
Distance: 524 yards (Par 5)
Description: A long par 5 to kick off the back nine. You must be a control freak with your ball, just like “Tommy in Charge.” This hole rewards precision, and Tommy’s got the control—do you?
Adult Beverage: Manhattan—Smooth, strong, and a good way to reset your round.
Song: "Livin’ on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi. Because sometimes, that’s all you’ve got.

Hole 11: "The Mirage"

Distance: 361 yards (Par 4)

Description: The green on this hole is tricky and difficult to see—just like it’s difficult to see Mike ever winning the Liver Classic. But hey, one day, who knows?

Adult Beverage: Mojito—Fresh and deceptive, just like this hole.

Song: "One Day" by Matisyahu. Because there’s always hope for Mike... and your approach shot.

Hole 12: "The Confidence Booster"
Distance: 128 yards (Par 3)
Description: A short par 3 that’s meant to boost your confidence—assuming you don’t overshoot the green. This is your chance to get that birdie you've been chasing all day.
Adult Beverage: Pina Colada—Sweet and easy, just like your approach should be.
Song: "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves. Because you’re about to get your groove back.

Hole 13: "The Heartbreaker"
Distance: 452 yards (Par 5)
Description: A long par 5 that looks like a chance for glory, but often ends in heartbreak. That dogleg left is trickier than it seems, and the green is guarded like it’s the last piece of cake.
Adult Beverage: Rum & Coke—Strong enough to help you forget your troubles.
Song: "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. Because you might need to remind yourself.

Hole 14: "The Deceiver (Part 2)"

Distance: 192 yards (Par 3)

Description: This par 3 looks straightforward, but don't be fooled—this is where Jamison’s pants will continue their journey from white to brown. The green is guarded like a secret, and getting there will require every bit of nerve you've got.

Adult Beverage: Mai Tai—Exotic, fun, and just a bit tricky, like this hole.

Song: "Sweet Child O’ Mine" by Guns N’ Roses. Because it starts sweet, but can turn on you quickly.

Hole 15: "The Gamble"

Distance: 349 yards (Par 4)

Description: This par 4 is all about taking risks—just ask Wyatt. He’ll either bomb his drive near the green, or the ball will take a scenic detour to Seascape Hotel and Resort. It’s a gamble every time, but isn’t that what makes it fun?

Adult Beverage: Whiskey Straight—No mixers, just like your approach to this hole.

Song: "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers. Know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em.

Hole 16: "The Tease"
Distance: 192 yards (Par 3)
Description: Another par 3, another chance for a hole-in-one—or a double bogey. The green is just out of reach, but close enough to make you think you’ve got a shot.
Adult Beverage: Sangria—A little bit of everything, just like your emotions on this hole.
Song: "I Want You Back" by The Jackson 5. Because you’ll want to take that shot back.

Hole 17: "The Penultimate Challenge"
Distance: 398 yards (Par 4)
Description: The penultimate hole, where you’re either trying to salvage your score or cement your victory. The fairway is wide, but the green is guarded by bunkers that seem to have a magnetic pull. This hole is extremely difficult, unless you’re Adam—then it's just another stroll in the park for a Sandbagger.
Adult Beverage: Martini—Shaken, not stirred, just like your nerves.
Song: "Gimme Shelter" by The Rolling Stones. You’ll need some shelter from the storm that is this hole.

Hole 18: "The Grand Finale"
Distance: 436 yards (Par 5)
Description: You’ve made it to the final hole, but don’t relax just yet. You’ll need to get through this hole quickly so young Tom can get home for his 4-hour post-Liver Classic nap. The fairway is long, the green is tricky, and the pressure is on—finish strong and head for the clubhouse!
Adult Beverage: Scotch Neat—A strong finish deserves a strong drink.
Song: "The Final Countdown" by Europe. Because it’s all come down to this.
